802.1Q VLAN Configuration Menu Screens

This chapter describes the 802.1Q VLAN Configuration Menu screen (Section 8.2) and the

following screens that can be selected from its menu:

• Static VLAN Configuration screen (Section 8.3)

• Static VLAN Egress Configuration screen (Section 8.4)

• Current VLAN Configuration screen (Section 8.5)

• Current VLAN Egress Configuration screen (Section 8.6)

• VLAN Port Configuration screen (Section 8.7)

• VLAN Classification Configuration screen (Section 8.8)

• Protocol Port Configuration screen (Section 8.9)

For 6C105 chassis:

For 6C107 chassis:

NOTE: It is strongly recommended that you read Chapter 13 to gain an understanding

of VLANs and the associated terminology; how to use the VLAN Configuration screens

to create VLANs; examples of how to configure VLANs in switches to solve a problem;

and details on how frames are handled as they travel through the network.
