Installing the Optional Cable Management Kit
ToinstalltheCableManagementKit,proceedasfollows:
1. Unpackthetopandbottomcablemanagementassembliesfromtheshippingbox.Examine
eachassembly.Ifeitherassemblyisdamaged,contactEnterasysNetworksforinstructions.
2. Removeoneorbothofthechassisbezels(panelswithlogo)bylooseningthetwocaptive
screwsattaching
eachbezeltothechassis.SeeFigure 3‐33,whichshowsthelocationofthe
twocaptivescrewsonthebottomchassisbezel.
3. Replacetheremovedchassisbezelorbezelswithoneorbothcablemanagementassemblies.
Attacheachassemblytothechassisbytighteningthetwocaptivescrewsonthe
basepanelof
theassembly.
Note: The cable management assemblies must be removed to install fan trays.
Note: Removing both chassis bezels is not required. Installing only one of the cable management
assemblies may be sufficient to bundle and secure your cables.
