TheMatrixX16‐Cprovides20slotsthatacceptmodules.IOM(Input/OutputModule)slotsare
numbered1through8beginningwiththebottomleft‐mostslotandcontinuingfrom9through16
beginningatthetopleft.TwoFabricModuleslots,labeledFM1andFM2,arelocatedinthemiddle
of
thechassis,andbeneaththem,ControlModuleslotsCM1andCM2.
Thethreeslotslocatedattheverybottomofthechassisarereservedforfantrays.Threeoptional
fantrayslotsarelocatedatthetopofthechassis.Lastly,sixPowerSupplyslotsoccupytheright
sideofthe
chassis.
