Figure B‐1showsthelocationsofthemodeswitchesandtheswitchsettingsfornormal
operation.Theseswitchesaresetatthefactoryandrarelyneedtobechanged.
Switchdefinitionsandpositionsareasfollows:
•Switches1through6–ForEnterasys Networksuseonly.
•Switch7–ClearPersistentData.Changing
thepositionofthisswitchclearsPersistent
Dataonthenextpower‐upofthemodule.Alluser‐enteredparameters,suchastheIP
address,modulenames,etc.,areresettothefactorydefaultsettings.Oncethemodule
resets,youcan eitherusethefactorydefaultsettingsorreenteryourown
parameters.

supply cords before servicing to avoid electric shock.
