2 .2 Cont a ct N ipples D e signa tion
Wit h 4 cont act nipples, the PTM 210 offers 2 channels w it h 4 act ion st at es each ( up-
per/ lower nipple is pressed/ released when act ivat ing t he energy bow) . The nipples’ desig-
nat ion is as follows:

Radio signals of t he PTM 210 device are event- cont rolled ( energy bow is pressed/ released)
wit h cont act nipple code ( channel/ st at e) and unique device ident ificat ion ( fixed 32- bit I D) .
When operat ing m ore than one nipple at t he sam e t im e, not e t hat PTM 210 sends m ultiple-
but t on code com binat ions:
 N- m essage: One or t wo cont act nipples have been pressed when act ivat ing t he energy
generat or Æ Message with nipple code and pressed/ released event st at us of t he energy
bow is sent .
 U- m essage: No cont act nipple was pressed when act ivat ing t he energy generat or, or 3
or 4 nipples have been pressed Æ Message wit h pressed/ released event st at us of t he
energy bow is sent and t he inform at ion if eit her none or m ore t han t wo nipples have
been pressed. Not e t hat it can’t be different iat ed if 3 or if 4 nipples have been pressed.
Due to the m echanical hyst eresis of t he energy bow, in m ost rocker swit ch device
im plem ent at ions, pressing t he rocker sends an N- m essage and releasing t he
rocker sends a U- m essage!
