● Select SQI for V threshold flags.
● Select IQ clutter All pass.
● Click on Apply.
● Now, you will see a very noisy A-Scope for the radial velocity.
Increase the SQI threshold to 0.4.
The noise in the A-Scope almost disappears. Fine-tune the SQI parameter, until the noise is almost
removed completely.
2.1.7.2 Clutter threshold Parameter
Only the CCOR clutter threshold and the IQ clutter filter configuration is relevant for rejecting zero
velocity (clutter).
See description for CCOR threshold and IQ clutter filter above.
● Set CCOR threshold to –30dB.
● Select IQ clutter filter to All pass.
● Select SQI | CCOR for V threshold flags.
● Click on Apply in the extended SDP settings.
If you can identify a strong clutter target in the closer area of the radar, the radial velocity in the A-Scope
indicates a value around zero (= clutter).
● Select IQ clutter filter IQ3.
● Click on Apply in the extended SDP settings.
If you can identify a strong clutter target in the closer area of the radar, the radial velocity in the A-Scope
will be thresholded (= rejected).
