MerlinVGA'sobjectLocatorfeaturecanhelpyouquicklylocate
somethingyou’relookingforonapage,oraspecicpartofan
object you want to view more closely.
To locate the desired object:
1.Pressandholdthe[PRESET]button.Merlin
willautomaticallyzoomouttothewidesteld
ofview,andalocator“target”(asshownat
right) will appear in the center of your display
screen. Continue to hold the button down
while performing the next two operations.
2.UsetheX-Ytableandmoveyourworkor
reading material until you have located the
desireditemwithinthe“target”area.
3.Releasethe[PRESET]buttonandthe
MerlinVGAwillmagnifytheitemyou've
located within the targeted area.
Note: Holding the [PRESET] button down for more than
10 seconds will cause the locator target to disappear.
