Remote Control Panel (RCP):
This is a software interface that lets you control key functions and features of the
preamp remotely. It runs on Windows* PC operating systems. Before you can use
the Panel, you must connect the preamp to a serial interface of the PC (Com port)
and of course launch the software on your PC.

Shadow-Preset:
Every MIDI preset of banks A and B has a shadow preset of its own.
Every time you program a MIDI preset via Write or Copy, the system automatically
loads that MIDI preset's original setting to its shadow preset, deleting the
configuration that was previously stored in the shadow preset.
You can call up the shadow preset by pressing MANUAL & WRITE simultaneously
and then swap the contents of shadow preset with those of the MIDI preset by
pressing WRITE. This writes data back to the MIDI preset, restoring its old setting.
Segmental LED:
This term describes the 11 LEDs that are arrayed around every knob. In every
operating mode, these LEDs indicate the current setting of the knob. The MSF
(Memory Status Feature) causes the LED flash, indicating that a setting on a MIDI
or factory preset has been changed. This also tells you that a Write operation will
be carried out when you press the WRITE/COPY button and, when the LED stops
flashing, that the edited preset is stored. For shadow presets, LEDs will flash to
indicate that the settings of a MIDI preset and its shadow preset are not identical.
