Medium Power Applications

EWMAR’s new Centurion Rectifier System is designed to meet a

wide variety of telecom, wireless and co-location site power require-

ments. The system is ideal for medium-power applications requiring

redundancy, hot-swap capability and system scalability.

A single 2U shelf accepts (TESSCO Part No. 426692) up to three

550-watt, 12-, 24- or 48-volt rectifiers that slide and lock into place for

a redundant system that is easily scaled to requirements. Rectifiers

can be added or changed without system shutdown. The system may

be used to power equipment directly or charge site batteries using

three-stage, switch-mode technology, adaptable to many different

types of battery chemistries.

System monitor features include bar graph output power display,

LED status indicators, output voltage test points and adjustment pot,

plus form A and form C alarm contacts. The system operates from a

wide input range of 90-264 VAC, with .96 power factor correction.
