4.16.4. %CPI Call Progress Information
Command Function This command refers to call progress
information, which is indicated by the
network during call establishment. The set
command enable/disables the presentation
of unsolicited notification result codes from
TA to TE. When <mode>=1 and a call
progress information is received during a
call establishment, intermediate result code
%CPI: <cId>,<msgType>,<ibt>,<tch> is
sent to TE. <cId> identifies the call in the
call table. The value of <msgType>
describes the layer 3-message type that
was used to transfer the call progress
information. The state of TCH assignment
and the use of in-band tones for that call
can be monitored by the values of <ibt>
and <tch>. Test command returns values
supported by the TA as compound value.
