Notes When HOSTIF = 3, all port connection
requests must originate from the Host
system. When the modem is configured for
this mode, it is operating as a non-
configurable router / firewall. FTP active
mode is not supported. Some programs
may require a remote proxy in order to
work.
• Do not use AT$AREG=2 with
autobauding of the serial port and
TCP or UDP PAD functions. The
serial port will not respond to at
commands if the modem establishes
a connect state before the baud rate
has been determined for the serial
port.
