7 CLEARANCESTOHEATSENSITIVEMATERIALS
Itisofoutmostimportancethattheclearancestoheatsensitivematerialsbecarefullymaintained
uponinstallationofthewoodfireyouhaveselected.Refertothetablesbelow.
No part of the wood fire or flue may be located closer to combustibles than the minimum
clearancefiguresgiven.
7.1 LOCATIONOFTHECERTIFICATIONLABEL
Sincetheinformationgivenonthecertificationlabelaffixedtotheappliancealwaysoverridesthe
informationpublished,inanyothermedia(owner’smanual,catalogues,flyers,magazinesand/or
web sites) it is important to refer to it in order to have a safe and compliant installation. In
addition,youwillfindinformationaboutyourwoodfire(model,serialnumber,etc.).Youcanfind
thecertificationlabelonthebackofthewoodfire.

WHERETHEFLUEPASSESTHROUGHAWALL,CEILING,FLOORORROOFS,VENTILATEDDOUBLE
FLUEWOOD FIRE CASINGS MUST BE USED AROUND THE FLUE, ALONG WITH CEILING PLATES
ASSPECIFIEDINAS/NZS2918:2001.THECASINGSHALLPASSTHROUGHTHEENTIRETHICKNESS
OFWALL,CEILINGORWALL.
