Aperture Priority Mode [ Av ]
When you set the aperture mode, the camera automatically selects a shutter speed to fit the brightness.
Choosing a lower aperture value (Higher F value) letting you fade the background and create a beautiful
portrait. A higher aperture value (Lower F value) both close objects and distant objects (such as landscape
scenery) will be in focus. The larger the aperture value, the greater the range of the image brought into
clear focus. The flash default setting for [ Av ] Aperture Priority mode is [ ] flash off. For long time
exposure photography, be sure to set the flash setting to [ ] flash off.
1. Rotate the mode dial to [ Av ] Aperture Priority mode.
2. Power on your camera.
3. Press the button to select a value. The aperture range varies based
on the optical zoom status.
The setting range is as follows:
Wide mode: F2.6 F3.1 F3.7 F4.4 F5.3 F6.3
Tele mode: F4.5 F5.4 F6.4 F7.6 F9.2 F10.9
4. Compose your picture.
5. Press the shutter button.
