[15] Description of Equipment or protective system
The Model MSHD3AA is a portable illumination device powered by three size “AA” alkaline cells. It consists of a battery pack, lamp
assembly with 4 LEDs, head strap, and a coiled cord that connects the battery pack to the lamp assembly. The device is intended to
be worn on a person’s head.
Temperature range
The ambient temperature range is -20°C to 40°C.
Electrical data
Three size “AA”, 1.5 V, Energizer Part No. E91 or EN91 alkaline cells.

[17] Specific conditions of use:
This device has exposed, isolated metal parts. The Measurement of Capacitance Test yielded a maximum capacitance of any
exposed, isolated metal part of 4 pF (on the right nameplate screw). All other exposed, isolated metal parts had a measured
capacitance of 3 pF or less.

Additional information
The model MSHD3AA has in addition passed the tests for Ingress Protection to IP 64 in accordance with
EN 60529:1991+A1:2000+A2:2013.
The trademark “Eveready Battery Company” may be used as the company identifier on the marking label.
The manufacturer shall inform the notified body concerning all modifications to the technical documentation as described
in Annex III to Directive 2014/34/EU of the European Parliament and the Council of 26 February 2014.
