Question 4:
How to add or modify the users and their authorities of using the Video Server ?
• Entering the setting page
1. Click the
System button in the home page.
2. Click the
Users button on the left side of the page to enter the „System - Users” page.
• Add a new user
1. Please enter the user name, the password, the confirmed password and choose the authority.
There are three different levels of authorities, namely Admin, Operator and Viewer.
Admin: The user who accesses with the admin name and password has the full power to even change
the settings of the Video Server.
Operator: The suggested choice for normal use.
Viewer: The user who accesses with just the viewer name and password has only a limited power to view.
2. Click the
Submit button to submit the new user’s setting.
• Modify the user
1. Click the user name you want to modify on the
User List.
2. Enter the password, the confirmed password and choose the authority.
3. Click the
Submit button to submit the new setting.
• Delete a user
1. Click the user name you want to modify on the
User List.
2. Click the
Delete button.
• Upload the recorded file via the FTP
1. Click the
Application button in the home page.
2. Click the
Enable button on the left side of the page to enter the „Record Application Enable Setting” page.
3. Tick on „Enable RECORD - UPLOAD via FTP”.
4. Click the
Submit button to submit the setting.
• Set the upload rate
1. Click the
Application button.
2. Click the
FTP button on the left side of the page to enter the „FTP Application Setting” page.
3. Set the last item „Upload Rate” at the bottom of the page to the rate you want.
If you want to record at the rate of 1F/8S, please choose „1F/8S” in the drop-down list.
