6.2 Mounting the single micro inverter
The single micro inverter has several mounting points.
The installer must choose the most suitable method of mounting the micro inverter.
The body of the micro inverter must not be in contact with either the roof surface or
the PV module.
There must be at least 10mm clearance between the body of the micro inverter,
the roof surface and the rear of the PV module. Ensure that the bolts used are
well clear of the module backsheet, even under the module’s snow load
conditions.
ATTENTION: The micro inverter must be mounted with the antenna cover facing
downwards, towards the roof surface. If it is mounted the wrong way up, it will
not be able to communicate with the Enecsys gateway.
Secure the inverter to the mounting
structure.
Mounting methods may vary.
An M8 diameter bolt is recommended.
The installer must supply bolts, washers
and other fasteners.
