5.5.2 Mounting the external antenna

• The external antenna must be mounted on the roof, as close to all the micro

inverters as possible.

• The external antenna must be below the height of the lowest inverter: for best

results, mount it horizontally. Mounted horizontally along the inside of the bottom

rail of the PV mounting frame is a good position.

• It must be possible to pass the coaxial cable from the external antenna into the

building where it can be connected to the double repeater.

• Make sure that the cable entry to the building is waterproofed.

ATTENTION

Make sure that water cannot run down the coaxial cable and onto the double repeater

unit: make a drip loop in the antenna coaxial cable to prevent this.
