5.5 Installing a double repeater
The double repeater can be installed anywhere in the building, but it must be possible to pass
a coaxial cable from the double repeater to the external antenna which must be installed
above the roof. The double repeater must be installed near a mains power socket for the plug-
top mains adapter.
Double repeater scope of delivery:
• 1 Double repeater unit
• 1 Plug-top mains adapter – 5V DC 1A
• 1 External antenna for roof mounting (not shown)
• 1 Coaxial cable with RP SMA connectors for connection to the external antenna –
length 15m (optional 30m)
5.5.1 Mounting the double repeater
• The double repeater must be installed indoors near a mains power socket.
• It can be freestanding, on its plastic feet.
• It can be wall mounted using two screws in the position shown in the diagram.
• It can be mounted using sticky pads in the position shown in the diagram.
• It can be attached to a roof truss or a pillar or pipe using a cable tie passed through
the cutouts shown in the diagram.
