• To select Installer Mode, press the Installer Mode switch with the sharp end of a
pencil or a straightened paper clip, and keep it pressed for 5 seconds.
• To return to User Mode:
o press the Installer Mode switch again just briefly, or
o disconnect the gateway from its power source, then power up again.

If possible, reposition the Enecsys gateway to a
higher position in the building. If a check P cannot
be established then install a repeater.

No action is needed.
• In Installer Mode, the check ! symbol should display in the Communication
Connection Quality Field. If the “?” or X symbol are displaying, it may be necessary
to one or more repeaters: see section 5, “Using Enecsys Repeaters”.
