3 Installing the Gateway
• The gateway is connected to the Internet using an Ethernet port on the customer’s
router.
• It communicates with the micro inverters so the PV installation can be monitored using
an Internet browser. It has a screen, shown below, which will be used later in the
installation to check communication with the micro inverters.
• It must be installed indoors near a power outlet for the plug.
