Introduction
Scope of delivery
The following list details the scope of delivery, please ensure that all parts
are present before starting the installation.
• 1 x Double-Repeater.
• 1 x Fixed antenna.
• 1 x External antenna.
• 1 x Coaxial cable (with SMA connectors, variable length).
• 1 x Plug-top 5V DC, 1A adaptor with 2.1mm jack.
• 3 x Double sided adhesive pads.
Double Repeater
The double-repeater is designed to provide a ‘hop’ between nodes in the
network. It is intended that the double repeater be used to allow
communication between the Inverters and gateway where the
propagation losses are too high for a reliable link within the installation.
There are various implementations of double repeaters and more than
one repeater can be used to cover larger distances. A double repeater
differs from a single repeater in that two antennas can be used. One
antenna can be connected via coaxial cable to an external antenna, which
could be positioned on the roof, close to the inverters. The second
antenna allows communication with the gateway located in the house.
