7.3.2 Troubleshooting during Configuration and Maintenance of
the SP201-SA
Table 7-6 describes possible solutions to problems you could encounter
while configuring, operating, and maintaining the SP201-SA.

Problem Possible Cause Possible Solution
Signaling
conversion is
behaving
erratically.
•Trunks may be
down or in alarm
states.
•Check the trunks for
alarm status.
•The software
configuration may
need adjustment.
Review the settings for
each parameter. Revise
settings as needed. In
particular, check any
manual configuration of
connections, timeslots,
or CICs.
If necessary, warmstart
the SP201-SA.
The hardware
configuration does
not match the
software
configuration.
After checking that the
hardware configuration
is correct, warmstart the
SP201-SA.
If necessary, execute the
coldstart command to
reset the SP201-SA
parameters to factory
defaults.
Caution: If you
perform a coldstart, you
will lose all custom
settings, and you will
need to reconfigure
them.
