GENERAL INFORMATION IMPORTANT • Please read through before starting assembly. • Important: Check the inside of the larger pieces in your box for other materials packed inside. • When assembling components, place on a non-abrasive surface (i.e. shipping box) to avoid scratching. • We recommend an area approx 5’x 5’ for unobstructed assembling. • You should not need to use excessive force when assembling components.
STEP 1: LAY OUT MATERIALS OPTIONAL WINTER COVER KIT FOR LIBERTY LATTICE A B F Front Frame (1) 1 ½” x 1 ½” x 36” Side Frame (2) 1 ½” x 1 ½” x 36” Steel Screw - 1” (2) (for securing back board) G C D Front Board (1) ½” x 12” x 38 ¾” TOOLS YOU WILL NEED E Middle Board (1) ½” x 12” x 38 ¾” Back Board (1) ½” x 10” x 38 ¾” Steel Screw - 2.5” (4) (for connecting frame) Cordless Drill www.zippity-outdoor.
STEP 2: INSTALLING THE BOARDS STEP 2.1 Identify one of the side frame pieces (B) and position it as shown below. B STEP 2.2 Slide the front board (C) into the long slot in the side frame as shown below until it hits the back wall. C STEP 2.3 Slide the tongue of the middle board (D) into the groove of the front board. Continue sliding the middle board into the slot of the side frame until it hits the back wall. D STEP 2.4 Slide the tongue of the back board (E) into the groove of the middle board.
STEP 3: SECURING THE FRONT FRAME STEP 3.1 Drive a 1” steel screw (F) into the side frame near the back board, roughly one inch from the large hole in the side frame. 1" STEP 3.2 1 F 1. STEP 4: COMPLETING THE COVER STEP 4.1 1. Slide the boards into the slot in the second side frame (B), starting from the back of the boards. Continue sliding the boards into the side frame until the side frame is touching the front frame. 2. STEP 5: COMPLETING THE COVER STEP 5.1 STEP 5.2 Remove all of the post caps from your Liberty Lattice AC Screen Kit. Turn your assembled cover over and insert the posts of the screen into the holes on the bottom of the roof. Enjoy your new AC cover!
