Application Guidelines for Encap

Bone and Blood Meal Products

For best results, mix or rake into the soil and water in.

1. For Bulbs & Gardens:

a. Apply 10 lbs. per 100 sq. ft.

b. For individual bulbs, mix 1 tspn into the soil

2. For Trees & Shrubs:

a. Spread 1 – 2lbs under the entire cover of tree

or shrub

3. For Potted Plants:

a. Apply 1 – 1

Bone Meal Application Guidelines

1. For Gardens, Flower Beds, Trees, Shrubs

& Potted Plants:

a. Spread 3 cups (1 lb.) per 100 sq. ft. or ½ tbsp.

per plant near drip line

b. For heavy feeding, spread 6 cups (2 lbs.) per

100 sq. ft. Apply evenly and do not

concentrate near the base or crown of plants.

Blood Meal Application Guidelines

1. Rake the soil to remove debris

and loosen soil

3. Water the area evenly after

application
