A3 Installation
• Connect the green ground wire on the outlet strip to the microscope
ground.
• Run the Fiber Optic cables between the controller and the computer.
A3.5 Shutter-control output
The Shutter-Control output (shown in figure A11) is on a BNC connector on
the back panel of the controller (Figure A7).
• Connect one end of the Shutter-Interface cable to the Shutter-Control
output on the controller.
• Connect the other end to the Shutter-Interface provided by Gatan (or
microscope vendor).
A3.6 Shutter-override output
The shutter-override output (shown in figure A11) is on a BNC connector on
the back panel of the controller (Figure A7).
• Connect one end of the shutter override interface cable to the shutter
override output on the controller.
• Connect the other end to the shutter-override interface provided by
Gatan (or microscope vendor).
