A2.2 Controller’s back panel
• Supply Voltage: 100-240 V AC
• Insulating rating of external circuits: 1500 V
• Operating Conditions: 15 – 25 C
• Power Entry Module: AC line voltage is connected through a universal
power cord. The power entry module is compatible with either single or
dual fusing.

• I/O (Fiber 1 and 2) (Figure A5): Fiber 1 (output) transmits data from
the Fiber Optic Interface card mounted in the PCI bus of the computer.
Fiber 2 (input) receives data from the controller to the Fiber Optic
Interface card.
• Outputs (Shutter Override 1 and 2) (Figure A5): These outputs provide
logic-level signals for control of the TEM shutter.
• Inputs (Shutter Override 1 and 2) (Figure A5): These inputs are used to
monitor the position of the TEM viewing screen. When a screen down
condition is sensed, the First Light Controller sets both shutter outputs
1 and 2 to open regardless of state requested by the computer. Either
input may be used regardless of shutter configuration.
