Power button board (includes left and right speakers and cables) 730552-001
Before removing the power button board, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the service cover (see
Service cover on page 48), and then remove the following
components:
a. Battery (see
Battery on page 50)
b. Hard drive (see
Hard drive on page 52)
c. Keyboard (see
Keyboard on page 62)
d. Top cover (see
Top cover on page 69)
e. System board (see
System board on page 89)
Remove the power button board:
1. Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×3.25 screws (1) that secure the power button board to the
top cover.
