HP StorageWorks EVA4100/6100/8100 ships with XCS V6.110 factory installed on new EVAs. XCS
V6.110 supports all 2 and 4Gb EVA4000/6000/8000 and EVA4100/6100/8100models The base XCS
License to use for the EVA is contained in the hardware shipment.
HP StorageWorks EVA4x00/6x00/8x00 XCS v6.110 controller media download is available from
HP.com. These downloads are available for upgrades of existing 2 and 4Gb EVA4x00/6x00/8x00s. The
EVA Release Notes and Upgrading Product software Guide are also available from the same location.

Review the Release Notes and Upgrading Product Software documentation and compatibility
requirements of all installed Array Integrated Software completely before upgrading. Downgrading an
EVA XCS version is not recommended without HP Service support. Contact HP Services if you have any
questions.

HP StorageWorks Command View EVA is required software for all EVA models. HP Command View EVA
requires a License to use (LTUs) equal to, or greater than the total raw capacity of each array.
