Use arrow keys at top of Control Panel to scroll to the desired X-10 unit
number and press OK at top of Control Panel.
A voice prompt will sound: "APPLIANCE [x] OPEN" if the appliance has
been turned ON, and "APPLIANCE [x] CLOSED" if the appliance has
been turned OFF ([x] = appliance number).
3.4.3 Recording/Playing Voice Memos
(Note
: This section refers to voice memos left for users. Recording and
playback of voice prompts are discussed in Sections 2.5.4 and 2.5.5
below.)
To record a voice memo for users, press * and 3 on the numeric keypad
at center of Control Panel. Screen will show:
RECORD A MESSAGE
Start ↵ Delete #
Press OK and start recording your message. To stop recording, press OK
again.
To delete a recorded voice memo, press Delete. The recorded message
will be deleted.
To play a voice memo for users, press * and 6 on the numeric keypad at
center of Control Panel. Screen will show:
PLAY A MESSAGE
Start ↵
Press OK to start playing the message. To stop playback, press OK
again.

To mute speaker, press * and 4 on the numeric keypad at center of
