WINDOWS 2000 Computer Interface Setup
System Requirements: Windows 2000, Ethernet
 Connect computer to the modem jack with an Ethernet Crossover Cable.
 Left-click - StartMenu -> Settings -> Right-click Network and Dialup Connections -> Click
Open
 Right click on the LAN connection in use.
 Select “Properties”
 Highlight “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)”, click on “Properties”
 Select the “Use The Following IP address” radio button.
 Enter the following:
o IP address: 172.16.0.2 / Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 / Gateway 172.16.0.1
 Click Ok.
 Restart Machine.
