How to Use This Manual
A. General
(1)ThismanualprovidesinformationabouttheinstallationoftheSmallSATCOMUAVSystem.
(2)Standardmaintenanceproceduresthattechniciansmustknowarenotgiveninthismanual.

suchasdrills,taps,bolts,nuts,etc.donothaveanequivalent.

(1)Thismanualprovidesdetailedinformationforavionicstechniciansaboutthewiring,installation,
andsetupofeverycomponentoftheSmallSatcom.Thismanualincludesinformationforend
usersabouthowtooperatetheSmallSATCOM.TheSmallSATCOMconnectstotheInmarsat
satellitenetworkandisintendedforuseonUAVsforcommand,controlandstreamingbackof
livevideoandothermissiondata.
