The AES system configuration includes the aircraft installation information.
NOTE: The AES System configuration file update is not a field activity. This is done by the
equipment supplier as part of production process. On completion of AES system
installation activities, the installer can view and verify the AES configuration settings
through the GUI as described in this section.
To view and make sure the AES configuration data is correct, navigate to the “Configuration Files”
information pages under the “Other Information & Control” menu. Figure 5-4 shows the typical
configuration file Information page.
NOTE: The AES system does not lose its configuration data because of the loss of its primary
power. The validity of the AES configuration content is determined by the AES system
with a checksum process. The checksum is done at the time of each power-up. An
invalid checksum results in the AES system reverting to the default values.
B. Regulatory Log Configuration Parameters
The regulatory log configuration parameters file (APM file - reglog.cfg) contains details of the
remote server for transferring the regulatory log data, downloading new software, and offloading
Jetwave logs.
