Table 4-13 describes the information available on the SATCOM SCM menu.
E. Subsystem Bus Status
As shown in Figure 4-6, the SATCOM SUBSY BUS menu reports the status of all subsystem buses
that provide communication between the components of the system.

Label Description Action
STATUS Reports the SCM status as OK or FAIL. If the status is FAIL, return the SCM to
RC the equipment supplier.
BUS
TO/FROM
Reports the status of the bus to the SCM as
OK or FAIL.
If the status is FAIL, check the
connections to the SCM.
OSS Reports the status of the Secure ORT as
one of the following:
NOT LOADED – No ORT in SCM memory.
OK – Secure ORT is valid.
INVALID – The Secure ORT is corrupted or
otherwise invalid and must be reloaded.
If the status is INVALID or NOT
LOADED, load a SECURE ORT file.
AMI Reports the status of the User ORT as one
of the following:
NOT LOADED – No ORT in SCM memory.
OK – User ORT is valid.
INVALID – The User ORT is corrupted or
otherwise invalid and must be reloaded.
If the status is INVALID or NOT
LOADED, load a USER ORT file.
