MILLIVOLT LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS

hand. When lighting the pilot, follow these instructions

2. Set REMOTE/OFF/ON switch to "OFF."

to "OFF". Do not force.
5. Closebottomlouverassembly(ifapplicable).

2. Openbottomlouverassembly(ifapplicable).
3. Set REMOTE/OFF/ON switch to
"OFF".
4. Turn off all electric power to the
appliance(ifapplicable).
5. Push in gas control knob slightly
and turn clockwise
to
"OFF".
NOTE:Knobcannotbeturnedfrom"PILOT"
to "OFF" unless knob is pushed in slightly.
Do not force.
6. Wait ten minutes to clear out any
gas. Then smell for gas, including
near the oor. If you smell gas,
STOP! Follow "B" in the safety
information above. If you do not
smellgas,gotothenextstep.
7. Findpilot-Followmetaltubefrom
gas control. The pilot is located
next tothe burner, near the right
side.
8. Turn gas control knob counterclockwise
to "PILOT".
9. Pushincontrolknoballthewayandholdin.Repeatedlypush
the Piezo Ignitor Button until the pilot is lit. Continue to hold
thecontrolknobinforaboutoneminuteafterthepilotislit.
Releaseknob,anditwillpopbackup.Pilotshouldremainlit.
If it goes out, repeat steps 5 through 9.
 • Ifknobdoesnotpopupwhenreleased,STOPandIM-
MEDIATELY call a qualied service technician or gas
supplier.
 • Ifthepilotwillnotstaylitafterseveraltries,turnthegas
controlknobto"OFF"andcallyourservicetechnicianor
gas supplier.
10. Turngascontrolknobcounterclockwise to "ON".
11. Set REMOTE/OFF/ON switch to desired setting.
12. Turnonallelectricpowertotheappliance(ifapplicable).
13. Closebottomlouverassembly(ifapplicable).
