Figures 13, 15 and 17 show a correct pilot ame pattern. The correct
ame will be blue and will extend beyond the thermocouple. The
ame will surround the thermocouple just below the tip. A slight
yellow ame may occur where the pilot ame and main burner ame
meet. Figures 14, 16 and 18 show an incorrect pilot ame pattern.
The incorrect pilot ame is not touching the thermocouple. This will
cause the thermocouple to cool. When the thermocouple cools, the
heater will shut down.
