The fixing brackets or fixing screws of the blanking cover may also not press against
the housing; if necessary, change the mounting position of the dimmer accordingly.
Risk of fatal injury from electrical current.
The outputs may carry an electrical voltage even when the dimmer is switched off.
Always disconnect the fuse in the incoming circuit from the supply before working on
connected loads.
1. Disconnect the circuit from the mains.
2. Connect the dimmer as shown (Fig. 1):
a. Neutral conductor at terminal "N" (A).
b. Phase at terminal "L" (B).
c. Luminaire at terminal "~" (C).
d. Extension push-button (optional) at terminal "1" (D).
3. Place the antenna as far as possible from metal parts (connecting cables,
retaining rings, etc.) to avoid interruptions to the Z-wave signal.
Metal surfaces in the immediate vicinity of the dimmer can affect reception. Therefore,
do not install the dimmer in a flush-mounted box made of metal.
3.0 How to put the dimmer into operation
After installation:
1. Switch on the mains voltage.
2. The connected luminaires flicker for around ten seconds and then switch off

Note: The lights will flicker in this way (load detection) after every interruption in the
mains voltage.
