5.2 Information
The first page of the web configuration of the EM6270 is the information page. You
can see the model name/firmware version, CAM ID, registration status, network type
and current video settings( bandwidth, resolution) in this page.
The EM6270 can be viewed remotely by the Easy Pro View software or App only
when the EM6270 is registered. If the EM6270 is not registered, please check the
Ethernet wiring of your network environment. The “Network type” field displays the
network connection(wired or wireless) and method(DHCP, PPPoE or static ip) the
EM6270 is running. The “Video users” field displays the number of connected video
viewing users. (maximal amount of users connected simultaneously is 20 users).
5.3 Network
The Network menu allows you to configure the network settings of the EM6270 such
as IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS Server, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi encryption, and
PPPoE
5.3.1 Wired Network
The Wired Network page allows you to modify the network settings of the wired
Ethernet. The default settings use DHCP to obtain an IP address automatically. In
most of the home and office network environment, there is a DHCP server running. In
this situation, by using this default settings, the EM6270 can work immediately in most
of the time.
If the Ethernet cable is unplugged, the EM6270 will lose connection. But as soon as
the Ethernet cable is plugged in again, the EM6270 will obtain a new IP address
immediately.
