The outlet box must be securely anchored and capable of withstanding a load of at least 50 pounds. ! WARNING Turning off wall switch is not sufficient. To avoid possible electrical shock, be sure electricity is turned off at the main fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring.

Securely connect the fan motor black wire to the supply black (hot) wire using wire connector supplied (Figure 4). ! 6. Carefully slide the motor ring up the motor housing and position the ring so that the reverse switch slot in the ring is in the correct position (Figure 5).
