External Main Termination Bars
Power Only Bays (Lists 3, 4, 5, 13, 14, and 15) and Distribution Only Bays (List 16) require external main
battery termination bars. The following are standard sizes. Special requirements can be met with Emerson
Services EA type bars. Shunts are not required because the load on a NetSure plant is internally calculated.
If a main shunt is desired, use bars so equipped with a List 71 card. This can be configured to override the
internal calculation and display the load of the main shunt as the plant load on the MCA.
