Adding or Deleting Channels from the User Configurations
The user configurations can be changed in the regards of adding or deleting channels by using the command SET USERS. The command
SET USER was described earlier in this section. Channels can also be added to or deleted from the currently logged on user’s
configuration through the command SET CHANNELS which is described below. These commands are also described in "Commands" of
the User Instructions (Section 5847). Section 5847 can be accessed via the CD (Electronic Documentation Package) furnished with your
system.
Note:
Users configured to report via a TL1 network can only specify channels that have been configured as part of an access identifier.
Command SET CHANNELS: Channels can be added to or deleted from the currently logged on user through the use of this command.
This command is available to users programmed for access to level 6 commands.
SET CHANNELS
Command <6>: SET CHANNELS
Type
SET CHANNELS
, then press
ENTER

Enter channel (e.g. A0012 or
A0001-0006) or D to display.
Add Channel:
Note:
If "X25" or "Telnet" is selected as
the REPORT DEVICE and "TL1" is
selected as the REPORT MODE, the
following statement appears if the
user tries to add a channel(s) which
does not belong to an Access
Identifier group.
Channel not configured
properly for TL1 reporting.
Type
D
to display a complete list of channels in the user configuration.
Type the number(s) of all additional channels to be added to the user
configuration, then press
ENTER
. Channels can be specified by entering
a single channel number (e.g. A0001, B0008), or by entering a range of
channels (e.g. A0001-0008, L0001-0012). To exit, press
ENTER
without
specifying a channel.
Enter channel (e.g. A0012 or
A0001-0006) or D to display.
Del Channel:
Type
D
to display a complete list of channels in the user configuration.
Type the number(s) of the channels to be deleted from the user
configuration, then press
ENTER
. Channels can be specified by entering
a single channel number (e.g. A0001, B0008), or by entering a range of
channels (e.g. A0001-0008, L0001-0012). To exit, press
ENTER
without
specifying a channel.
