SET USERS
Report Device (Modem,
Ethernet, X25 [only if
TL1/X.25 option installed], or
Telnet [only if TL1 over
Telnet option installed]):
Type the desired report device (select Modem, Ethernet, X25, or
Telnet) that the system uses to issue System Alarm Reports and User
Reports, then press
ENTER
.
Note:
"Modem" = LMS1000 Modem
"Ethernet" = Email notification via Ethernet Port
"X25" = TL1/X.25 Port
"Telnet" = TL1 over Ethernet Port
Report Mode (Off, Pager, M300,
M1200, M2400,M9600, M28800,
M33600, or M56000):

Report Mode (Off or TL1):
If "Modem" was typed above as the Report Device, type the desired
mode (select off, pager, or M[bits/s] that the system uses to send
System Alarm Reports and User Reports, then press
ENTER
.
Note:
If the report mode is set to pager, enter the required information
for the primary phone number (See Primary Phone above), unit
pager code (See Set Unit Command), and pager delay (See Set
Unit Command).
If "Ethernet" was typed above as the Report Device, type
Off
or
E-mail
,
then press
ENTER
. OFF = alarm reports are not processed. E-mail =
System Alarm Reports and User Reports sent via Email.
If "X25" or "Telnet" was typed above as the Report Device, type
Off
or
TL1
, then press
ENTER
. OFF = alarm reports are not processed. TL1 =
TL1 report messages processed via the TL1 port.
Report Retry Time:
Type the number of minutes that the system will wait before
attempting to contact the user with a callback, User Report, or TL1
report message if the prior attempt failed (0-1440 minutes, with 0
representing no retry), then press
ENTER
. (This retry time has no effect
on System Alarm Reporting.)
Note:
If "X25" or "Telnet" was entered
above as the Report Device, the
system responds with...
TL1 Report Condition Interval:

TL1 Report Condition Interval:
This parameter applies only to TL1 commands/messages. Type the
number of minutes (as referenced from midnight each day) that the
system will wait before contacting the user with another Report
Condition message (0-1440 minutes), then press
ENTER
. As an
example, if a time period of 90 minutes is specified, the system will
report at Midnight, 1:30 am, 3:00 am etc. A value of ‘0’ disables
sending of Report Condition messages.
Note:
If "Modem" or "E-mail" was entered
above as the Report Device, the
system responds with...
Occurred Alarm Report (Y or
N):
Type

if the user requires an occurred "User Report" and
N
if not, then
press
ENTER
. An occurred "User Report" is a report of any new alarms
that have occurred on the user’s channels.
Note:
If "Modem" or "E-mail" was entered
above as the Report Device, the
system responds with...
Retired Alarm Report (Y or N):

Y
if the user requires a retired "User Report" and
N
if not, then
press
ENTER
. A retired "User Report" is a report of any alarms that have
cleared on the user’s channels.

Persistent Alarm Report (Y or

if the user requires a persistent "User Report" and

. A persistent "User Report" is a periodic report of any
alarms that still exist on the user’s channels.
