Changing the Function Channel Configurations
The function channel configurations can be changed by using the command CONFIG. The command CONFIG is also described in
"Commands" of the User Instructions (Section 5847). Section 5847 can be accessed via the CD (Electronic Documentation Package)
furnished with your system. The command, when entered, will display a header that contains the current configuration. Then,
individually, the command will list each item that can be changed, showing the current information, and then prompting for new or
revised information to be entered. If the current information does not need to be changed, press
ENTER to continue.
Command CONFIG: If the command CONFIG is entered, the system will ask that you identify which channel you wish to modify. Another
way of entering the command is to identify the desired channel in the command line by typing the channel number after the characters
CONFIG (ex. CONFIG F1). The various information pertaining to a function channel that can be changed through this command is
described below. This command is available to users programmed for access to level 6 commands.
Note:
In a 582140000, 582140001, and 582126100 Power System, function channel 64 is dedicated for summing the total current output of
conventional rectifiers in a hybrid application. The channel name for F64 defaults to “Total Rectifier Output.” The LMS updates the MCA
with the calculated value for the configured program line.
Note:
Parameters which apply only to TL1 commands/messages do not appear for configuration if the TL1 software option is not installed.
