The timer starts when a signal is received indicating that
the commercial AC is restored. The standby sequencer (if
configured) operates normally until the timer expires.
When the timer expires, all rectifiers/PCUs are turned off
and the AC sequencer starts. If AC fails before the timer
expires, the timer is deactivated.
Note:
The AC Restoration Qualification Timer feature
should be set to a few seconds less than the actual
amount of time required for a proper transfer.
18. The system responds with...
Save changes (Y or N):
19. Type
Y
if the above entered data is to be saved in the
configuration and
N
if not, then press
ENTER
.
20. The system responds with...
RECTIFIER SEQUENCING ROUTINES (Y or N):
21. Type
Y
to enable the sequencer routines. Type
N
to
disable the sequencer routines. If enabled, sequencer
operation (routines) is determined by the attributes
configured below for the AC Sequencer and the Standby
Sequencer. If disabled, all rectifiers/PCUs are turned on.
Setting TL1 (if TL1 Software Option Installed)
Setting the TL1 Port Parameters
This procedure shows the user how to set the configurable
parameters of the TL1 port. When the command is entered, the
system displays the current value for each configurable parameter,
followed by prompts to enter new configuration values. Type a
new value and press
ENTER
, or press
ENTER
to keep the current
value.
PROCEDURE:
1. After logging onto the system, type
SET MODE
. Then
press
ENTER
.
Command <6>: SET MODE
2. The system displays the current TL1 port parameters.
Note:
TL1 Mode: Direct
is displayed if the 'TL1/X.25' Software
Option is installed.
TL1 Mode: Telnet
is displayed if the 'TL1 (over Ethernet)'
Software Option is installed.
3.
For the TL1/X.25 software option, the system responds
with...
Enter new TL1/X.25 port data rate:
Type
300
,
1200
,
2400
,
4800
, or
9600
which represents
the data rate in bits/sec for the TL1/X.25 port. Then press
ENTER
.
For the TL1 over Ethernet software option, the system
responds with...
Enter new TL1 port number:
Type
2020
then press
ENTER
.
4.
For the TL1 over Ethernet software option, the system
responds with...
TCP Keepalive (Y or N):
Type
Y if the system should test TL1 Telnet connection to
remote system (recommended), and
N if not. Then press
ENTER
.
NOTE, THE REMAINDER IS DISPLAYED FOR BOTH THE
TL1/X.25 and TL1 (OVER ETHERNET) SOFTWARE
OPTIONS.
5. The system responds with...
Session Timeout (0-1440, 0=disabled):
6. Type a number from
0
to
1440
which represents the TL1
port session timeout value in minutes. One day = 1440
minutes. Then press
ENTER
. The session timeout feature
of the TL1 port operates independently from the
system’s user timeout feature. A session timeout is
indicated by transmission of the TL1 CANCEL-SESSION
message. A value of zero for the session timeout
parameter disables the session timeout feature.
7. The system responds with...
Auto logon (Y or N):
8. Type
Y
if the system is required to automatically establish
a user session, and
N
if not. Then press
ENTER
.
9. If "Y" was typed above, the system responds with...
Auto logon user:
10. Type the number of the user who is automatically logged
on by the system. The configuration of the entered user
determines the access level of the user session. Then
press
ENTER
.
11. The system responds with...
AID Delimiter (Y or N):
12. In the system, the TL1 Access Identifier (AID) parameter
consists of a LMS1000 Access Identifier parameter and a
LMS1000 Sub-Access Identifier parameter, as explained
in "Setting Access Identifiers" found later this section.
Type
Y
to enable the use of a hyphen (AID delimiter)
between the system Access Identifier parameter and
LMS1000 Sub-Access Identifier parameter in all
responses to TL1 commands and reports containing a
TL1 Access Identifier field. Type
N
to disable the use of
the "AID delimiter".
