in the sequence in the event of an unsuccessful attempt
to report an alarm condition.

Auto-Logoff Time (seconds):
8. Type the required auto-logoff time (30 to 600 seconds).
If a user is remotely communicating with the system, and
the system needs to issue an alarm report to a remote
terminal, the system issues a priority message to the
user, and automatically logs the user off. The auto-logoff
time period is the interval the system waits with the
pending report before issuing the priority message, and
logging the user off.
This completes the configuration of the system using the SET
SYSTEM command. The configuration can be checked and, if
necessary, corrected at this time by re-entering the command SET
SYSTEM or by using the separate commands described later in this
section.
Setting Email Parameters
The following parameters must be set if you are sending System
Alarm Reports and User Reports via Email. Also set the "IP Network
Address", "IP Gateway Address", and "IP Netmask" using the
commands IP ADDRESS, IP GATEWAY, and IP NETMASK. See your
IT Department for these values.
PROCEDURE:
1. After logging onto the system, type
SET EMAIL.

Department for values. The SMTP server must be
capable of relaying Emails outside of the domain. The
Email return address must be on the same domain.
Configuring Groups

"SUBSEQUENT CONFIGURATION" of this section.
Setting User Timeout
This procedure shows the user how to change the length of time
that the system will remain on line without a command, carriage
return, or line feed being entered before terminating a
communication session.
Note:
The TL1 port has a session timeout feature which operates
independently from the user timeout feature.
PROCEDURE:
1. After logging onto the system, type
SET TIMEOUT.
Then
press
ENTER

3. Type the desired timeout period (5 seconds minimum,
9999 seconds maximum), then press
ENTER
. The timeout
period is the amount of time that the system waits after
being accessed and then left inactive before timing out
and returning to the idle state. If the system was
accessed remotely, the system will release the phone line
after this time out period expires.
Setting WEB Interface
Refer to the OPERATING section in the User Instructions (Section
5847). Section 5847 can be accessed via the CD (Electronic
Documentation Package) furnished with your system.
Setting the Battery Discharge Timer Feature (if required)
Refer to the OPERATING section in the User Instructions (Section
5847). Section 5847 can be accessed via the CD (Electronic
Documentation Package) furnished with your system.
Setting SNMP
Setting IP Networking Parameters
Use the following commands to set the IP Networking parameters.
Unit TCP/IP Address
Use the command IP ADDRESS and enter the TCP/IP address
assigned to this system. Refer to "Commands" in the User
Instructions (Section 5847) for further information on the use of
this command. Section 5847 can be accessed via the CD
(Electronic Documentation Package) furnished with your system.
Host Addresses
Use the command IP HOST and add Host addresses. Refer to
"Commands" in the User Instructions (Section 5847) for further
information on the use of this command. Section 5847 can be
accessed via the CD (Electronic Documentation Package)
furnished with your system.
