4.1 BACnet Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement
The Liebert IntelliSlot Web IS-IPBML, IS-WEBADPT and the IS-UNITY-DP
™
cards provide
BACnet IP to Emerson Network Power
®
devices via the BACnet protocol. The IS-UNITY-DP card also
supports the BACnet MSTP protocol. The IS-UNITY-DP card also supports the BACnet MSTP
protocol. Data points of the managed device are mapped to BACnet objects that are automatically
created in the card when the device is discovered. The connection is a 10/100BaseT Ethernet port that
supports device data access using BACnet IP and supports card configuration and administration
through HTTP and Telnet. A DB-9 RS-232 port provides Service Terminal access for card
configuration and administration.
The BACnet implementation does not include a BACnet Broadcast Management Device (BBMD).
The IS-IPBML and IS-UNITY-DP cards support Foreign Device Registration.
They allow you to register as a Foreign Device, add the IP address of the BBMD and set the Foreign
Device Time-to-Live.
