Inspection and Unpacking

• Always keep the packaged Liebert CRV upright and never leave it outdoors.

• If possible, transport the Liebert CRV using a forklift or pallet jack. Otherwise, use a crane with

belts or cables and spreader bars to protect the unit's sides from damage.

• If using a forklift or pallet jack, make sure the forks (if adjustable) are spread to the widest dis-

tance that will fit under the skid. Also, ensure the fork length is suitable for the unit length.

• When moving the packaged unit, do not lift it any higher than 6" (152 mm) off the ground. Exer-

cise great care if the unit must be lifted higher than 6" (152 mm); any personnel not directly

involved in lifting the unit must be at least 20ft (5m) away from the unit.

• Be aware of the center of gravity indicated on the package and in Table 1 below:
