APPLETON PANELBOARDS

FACTORY SEALED PANELBOARD

 e D2P Series is designed for use in Class I, Division 2 areas where ignitable vapors

or gases may be present, or in Class II, Division 1 areas where combustible dusts are

present.  e panelboard features a compact design and comes factory sealed without

the need for external branch seal  ttings.  e D2P Series is most commonly used for

lighting, heat tracing and protection of other electrical equipment.

Electrical Characteristics/Properties

• 12 to 36 circuit panelboard con gurations

• Permits selection of 1-, 2- or 3-pole breakers. 10,000 Amp Vac interrupting

capacity standard

• 120 Vac for 1-pole and up to 240 Vac for 2- or 3-pole

• 22,000 Amp Vac interrupting capacity available

Features

• Extra large spring loaded, self-locating design breaker actuators, 1-, 2- or 3-pole

breakers in any sequence

• Stainless steel captive, spring-out QuadLead

bolts for ease of access

• Actuators lock in either ON or OFF position without interfering with

tripping of breakers

• Double door design permits independent access to breaker and junction

compartments

• Breakers are pre-wired to terminal block to minimize installation time

• Insulated neutral lug provided as standard

• Panelboards use standard Quicklag

circuit breakers

• Provision for drains/breathers in both compartments

• Housings: copperfree (4/10 of 1% max.) aluminum
