Settings–Usertab
TheSettings/Usertaballowsyoutoviewandchangesomeofthesettingsassociatedwithyouraccount.The
userrightssectionoftheUsertabdisplaystheuser'srole,accessmodeandtheUSBmode.Thesefieldscannot
beedited.
Tochangeyourpassword:
1. Enteryourold(current)password.
2. Enteryournewpassword.
3. ClickSave.
OSDsettings
TheOSDsettingsallowtheusertocustomizetheirOSDhotkeysandtheinactivitytimeout.TheOSDinactivity
timeoutsetsthetimeafterwhichtheOSDwillbeautomaticallydismissedifthereisnouserkeyboardormouse
activity.ThereceiverOSDsupportsa24hourinactivitytimeout.Avalueofzero(0)willdisabletheinactivity
timeout.
TheOSDhotkeyistheshortcutkeythattheuserpressesonhiskeyboardtodisplaytheOSD.Theper-userOSD
Hotkeysettingappliesonlywhenthatuserisloggedintoareceiver.ThedefaultHotkeyissetbythesystem
administrator.Whenloggedin,youcanoverridethedefaultusingastandardsettingoracustomkeycode
sequence.AcustomsequencerequiresyoutoknowtheUSBkeycodevalue(s)foryourkeyboard.
OSDF1-F12
TheOSDF1-F12isforcreatingactionhotkeysforthereceiverOSD.Forexample,youcansettheF1keyto
connecttoaspecifictargetwhenloggedintotheOSD.Youcancreateshortcutkeyassignmentssothatwhen
theOSDisdisplayed,youcanpressoneoftheF1throughF12keysonyourkeyboardtoinitiateacommon
action,suchasconnectingtoaspecifiedtarget.Tocreateorchangeafunctionkeyassignment,clickEdit.

TheReceivertaballowsyoutoviewandchangesomeofthesettingsassociatedwiththereceiveryouare
connectedto.
NOTE:Only an Administrator can change these settings.
