TheAvocent

MatrixSwitchingSystemincorporatesanon-screendisplay(OSD),allowinguserstomanagethe
receiverandanyconnectedtransmitterfromthelocalkeyboardandmouse.TheOSDisdisplayedonamonitor
connectedtoareceiver.Ithasalistofavailabletargetstowhichtheusercanconnect.TheOSDsupportsuser
definedhotkeysandfavoritesforfrequentlyusedactions.
TheOSDwillbepositionedinthecenterofthescreenandwillbeoneoftwosizesdependingoncurrentreceiver
resolution.Thesizesare640x480and960x720.Theresolutionusedwillbethepreferredresolutionofthemonitor
asidentifiedbythemonitorEDID.IfthemonitorEDIDisnotavailable,thentheOSDwillbe640x480@60Hz
(VGA).Ifthereisnovideoconnectiontoatarget,theOSDwillusethedisplayresolutiononthereceiver.
Fromareceiver,pressPrintScreentoaccesstheOSD.Thedefaulthotkeycanbeconfiguredatthesystemlevel
andforeachuser.PrintScreenisthedefault.
NOTE:When making changes in the OSD, the * on the tab indicates a change has been made that has not been saved.
