TocreateOSDshortcutkeys:
1. Selectoneormoreusers.
2. OntheUserDetailspane,clickOSD F1-F12.
3. Selectthedesiredfunctionkeyandthenselectanactionfromthedrop-downlist.
4. TheConnecttoTargetXactionrequiresaspecifictargettobespecified.Selectatargetfromthedrop-down
listtotheright.
5. ClickSave.
Users–Statustab
TheStatustabshowsthecurrentreceiverloginandKVMsessionsfortheselecteduser(s).Typically,therewill
beonlyonesessionlistedperuser,butausercanhavemultiplesessions.Thetabdisplaystheusername,the
receiver,thetransmitterandthedurationofthesession.
DevicesTab
FromtheDevicestab,youcanmanageswitches,transmittersandreceivers.Thisincludesviewingandchanging
settings,updatingfirmware,andresettingtofactorydefaults.Thecurrentlistofdevicesknowntothemaster
switch(includingitself)isshownintheupperDevicespane.Whenanewdeviceisphysicallyconnectedtoa
switchinthesystem,itwillautomaticallyappearonthelist.Ifadeviceisphysicallyremovedfromthesystem,
itwillstillappearonthelistbutwillshowastatusofOffline.Settingsforthatdeviceareretainedinthemaster
switch.Ifthedeviceisconnectedagaininthefuture,itssettingswillbepushedfromthemasterswitchdownto
thedevice.
Restoredefaults
Therestorefulldefaultsoptionwillrestorethecompletefactorydefaultsettingstothedevice(s)selected.
Therestorepartialdefaultsoptionappliesonlytoswitches.Thiswillrestorethefactorydefaultsettingswiththe
exceptionofthenetworksettings.Networksettingsareexcludedsothatyoudonothavetoreconnecttothe
switchusingapotentiallydifferentIPaddress.
Updatefirmware
Theupdatefirmwareoptionupdatesthefirmwareforthedevice(s)selected.FirmwarecanbeupdatedusingFTP,
HTTP,HTTPS,TFTP,oralocalfile.Firmwareupdatefilesarenotretainedwhenpowerisremovedortheswitch
isrebooted.
NOTE:You can select multiple devices to be updated, but you must select devices of the same type.
Toupdatethefirmware:
1. FromtheDevicestab,selectoneormoresimilardevicesandclickUpdate.
2. Ifthedesiredfileisalreadystoredintheswitch,selectthefilefromthelistofexistingfiles.

3. Selectasourceforthenewfileandprovidethenecessarydetailsasprompted.
